New Potatoes

Delicate skin over fine-textured flesh distinguish this rustic favorite. Roast them for a crisp side or boil them for a crowd-pleasing potato salad.

Flavor & Preparation

Fresh off the vine, these potatoes are delicate, full of moisture, and less starchy than their mature counterparts. They are the stars of a rustic meal and while we think they are delicious on their own, they are the perfect vehicle for herbaceous flavor.

Leave the skin on for added texture and taste. They may be cooked whole or roughly chopped, before steaming or roasting. They can even be prepared in your campfire if a primitive meal is up your alley.

A classic new potato flavor pairing is rosemary; add your favorite fat (EVOO or delicious farm-fresh butter) and chopped herb for a fragrant side. Try tossing your potatoes with whole cloves of garlic before roasting.

Health Benefits

  • Packed with antioxidants and vitamins (keep the skin on to get the full benefits!)

  • Potato starches promote a healthy digestive tract, encouraging a healthy biome

  • Gluten free (well, duh, but…) if you are looking for an alternate starch for those with limited diets
