Elegant garnishes that elevate any dish. This flavorful herb couldn’t be easier to use.

Look out for chive blossoms in the spring — these delicate, edible purple flowers have a gentle onion and garlic flavor and make a beautiful addition to salads and garnishes.

 

Flavor & Preparation

Chives are related to onion and garlic, and carry a distinct, but readily palatable, onion flavor. They can be cooked or finely chopped for use as a flavorful garnish. They bloom in late Spring / early Summer, and the beautiful blossoms are also edible, with a slight garlic note.
